Please follow the steps below to onboard the AirDoctor app for WiFi-enabled models including AD2000i Smart, AD3500i Smart, and AD5500i Smart.
Before You Start
- Turn on your AirDoctor
- Stay near the device during setup
- Download the AirDoctor Pro App from the App Store or Google Play

Pair Your AirDoctor in the App
- Open the AirDoctor app and create your account.
Once you have created an account, Select ‘Add New Device
- Press and hold the Wifi button on the control panel until the light begins blinking. This indicates the device is in Discovery Mode
- Select ‘Create Room’ and create a room, then the app will start searching for your AirDoctor.
You can create a room by name to indicate where you’ll run your AirDoctor. This is useful if you have or plan to use more than one AirDoctor.
- You may have to hold the down the Wifi button again to put the AirDoctor in Discovery Mode
Select your unit when recognized in the app. (The name will be a mix of numbers and letters. You can rename the device later in the settings.)
Confirm your WiFi network
- Enter your WiFi password
Wait for pairing confirmation. This may take a few minutes.
When connected successfully, the WiFi light will turn solid blue.
- To receive alerts about your air quality and filter life be sure to activate Notifications.
iPhone Notes
Go to Settings → AirDoctor App and enable:
- Bluetooth
- Notifications
- Location and Precise Location
Android Notes
Go to Settings → Apps → AirDoctor → Permissions and enable:
- Location
- Nearby Devices
- Notifications
